The University of Fortaleza (Unifor) is a private university run by the Fundação Edson Queiroz, on Av. Washington Soares in the Edson Queiroz neighborhood of Fortaleza’s south zone. Its students, lecturers and staff keep packed schedules: early classes, afternoon internships, group projects in the evening.

On a schedule like that, lash extensions are a shortcut — no mascara in the morning, yet you still look ready for a presentation, an interview or a class photo. This guide covers how to fit lashes into university life, how to make them last longer, and how to reach Niely Oliveira — Studio de Cílios in Cambeba.

University life, semester by semester

When How lashes fit in
Start of term A good time for a first set, before the busiest weeks
Internship or work Light volume that suits a professional setting
Exams and deadlines Refill booked ahead so it does not compete for time
Graduation An effect chosen for photos, booked early

For classes and internships, Brazilian volume is usually the most practical choice: Y-shaped fibers for light, natural volume. If you would rather skip extensions, lash lifting curls and nourishes your own lashes and generally lasts about 6 to 8 weeks. For a party or the ceremony itself, Russian volume, made with handmade fans, gives a denser look.

Graduation and class photos

Graduation season brings several photographed moments — class photos, shoots and the ceremony — often on different days. Book your set or refill a few days before the first one so your lashes are settled.

Effects range from natural to doll, cat-eye and fox eyes. To pick one, read graduation lashes in Fortaleza.

Making your lashes last (and your budget stretch)

On a student budget, how long a set lasts matters. Much of it comes down to simple habits:

  • Respect the first 24 hours. Avoid water, steam, sauna and heavy sweating — that includes the gym.
  • Wash daily with lash foam and a soft brush to clear oil, sweat and dust.
  • Use an oil-free remover. Oil weakens the bond.
  • Skip waterproof mascara and lash curlers.
  • Do not pull loose lashes. Wait for your refill; eyelash extension removal explains why.
  • Refill on time, every 15 to 21 days. Leave it too long and natural shedding takes its toll; after about four weeks a full new set is usually needed.

Tip: book your next refill before you leave the studio, with your exam calendar in mind.

If you notice persistent itching, redness, burning or eye pain, stop using products around your eyes and see an ophthalmologist or dermatologist.

Getting to the studio from Unifor

The studio is about 5.6 km by car from the Unifor campus. The route runs mainly along Av. Washington Soares, then Rua Crisanto Moreira da Rocha and Av. Viena Weyne, to Av. Pedro Lazar in Cambeba.

Travel time varies with traffic, especially around class times. Our directions page shows this route, with buttons that open it in Google Maps, Waze, Uber or Apple Maps.

Edson Queiroz, Washington Soares and Cambeba

If you live in or spend your days around the campus, our Edson Queiroz neighborhood guide covers the area. And since Av. Washington Soares links the campus to Cambeba, the Washington Soares Avenue guide is worth a read too.

The south zone has a wide range of beauty services — lash studios, brow designers, waxing, nail and hair salons. For lashes, the studio in Cambeba is the specialist nearby, with private, scheduled appointments at Av. Pedro Lazar, 633, 1st floor, by Lago Jacarey. More in eyelash extensions in Cambeba.
